Role : Performance & Automation Test Engineer 

Location : Raleigh, NC 

Duration: 6+Months

Interview: Phone + Face to Face

Responsibilities: 
1. Build out and enhance our various automation test frameworks and process. 
2. Create and execute complex, multi-platform test plans and procedures that mimic real-life customer scenarios. 
3. Develop reproducible load and performance tests and analyze the results. 
4. Troubleshoot issues and tests; analyze product resource utilization and recommend alternatives to improve performance. 
5. Participate in Agile development processes and focus on automated testing to support software quality efforts. 
6. Assist product engineers in the identification and resolution of product defects. 
7. Provide suggestions for improving testing efficiency 

Qualifications: 
• Strong background in designing or extending existing test frameworks 
• Experience in developing browser based automation tests using frameworks like Selenium within continuous integration environments 
• Experience with system scalability testing and load performance testing by using tools like jMeter or WebLoad 
• Experience testing web services. 
• Experience setting up and maintaining Test Environments (Windows, Tomcat, Apache HTTDP configuration) 
• Software test and/or engineering experience, including but not limited to: 
o relational database environments and test methodologies 
o non-relational databases (e.g. HBase) and test methodologies 
o unit, functional, and regression testing 
o security, load, and performance testing 
• Programming experience with Java, TestNG and EclipseIDE 
• Experience with JIRA, SVN/GIT, and Bamboo is a preferred 

Requirements: 
1. 3+ years related industry experience 
2. B. S. in Computer Science or related field 
3. Must be a self-starter and able to work well with others in a fast-paced agile environment with an emphasis on collaborating and assisting the team to meet business objectives
