Job Description:
Need a general, diverse, senior business analyst with experience providing project management, service delivery, business and systems analysis/design, as well as developing, documenting, testing, and implementing business technology solutions. This person will serve basic BA roles functions such as:
· Serve as liaison between department end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, and third party development organizations.
· Create detailed business requirement documents (BRD) and translate them into functional specifications.
· Participate in integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
This position also requires advanced abilities to operate well under general or minimum supervision and the ability to perform duties with a broad latitude for judgment. They must have an in-depth and broader understanding of problem identification, analysis, and resolution. They need to understand business needs and work with project teams to ensure successful integration of new technologies, prioritize deliverables, and negotiate product functionalities. They must also have the ability to emphasize SDLC and/or Agile development styles in an unstructured/unrefined development environment tailored to meet client delivery expectations.
The ideal candidate:
· Will have a general understanding of software systems, basic knowledge of servers and databases, augmented with solid logical systems-thinking.
· Will be able to quickly learn a client's business and achieve a high level understanding of their IT systems infrastructure.
· Will have experience in full life-cycle project management and have served in roles of project definition, development, and implementation.
· Served project teams through analyzing/modeling existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and assessing/considering current state of the organization when tailoring recommended solutions.
· Will be able to design and propose advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing requirements.
