Role: KAFKA JAVA Developer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Work Location: 6 Months (extension possible)
Interview: Phone/ Skype
Years of Experience: 5-8+
Note: We need Photo visa copy (H1b)
Required Experience and Technical Skills:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
• 5 + years of experience.
• Extensive working knowledge in Java/J2EE, RESTful/ SOAP Web Services, Spring
• Experience in setting up multi-node Kafka cluster
• Experience in data integration with relational and NoSQL data bases using Kafka / Storm
• Experience in continuous integration and delivery
• Experience with systems automation and configuration management
• Knowledge of test driven development and work experience in agile environments
• Knowledge of operational and security best practices
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive.
• Ability to work as part of team on tasks, and projects with minimum supervision. Should be able to handle offshore coordination.
• Retail domain knowledge a plus
