Re: [MTC Global] [Weekdays Discussion-I] Growing Trust Deficit on Students-- a serious concern

its all in belief. some were I read and agree too that whatever you believe is correct. everyone has sufficient justifications for their beliefs.
Personally I too believe that its trust deficit or pseudo professionalism that institutions are adopting/promoting.

learning is customized. everyone has a unique an different learning style. as a facilitator of learning we need to understand this. if I look from this point of view, I don't see any relevance in attendance, bio metrics, policing and supervisor approach.in fact, we need to develop an environment of trust, support, care and Empathy to aid in developing a matured and responsible human being with requisite knowledge. we are person before a professional and personal(humane) skills are required to be developed first before livelihood skills and all  educational institutions from primary to post doctorate holds major responsibility to inculcate this behavior among youths. thus our actions, systems, processes should be designed in such away that is in sync with these values and beliefs.

Subject: [MTC Global] [Weekdays Discussion-I] Growing Trust Deficit on Students-- a serious concern

Many professors across the world are arguing why trust upon students are missing gradually. Especially in Higher Education space students are quite matured and responsible then why there is so much rigidity on attendance register, bio-metric machine, policing and other checks and controls. Why there is so much focus on plagiarism software to check authenticity of student research outcome?

Is there something seriously lacking?
