Position: Java Technical Lead with 10+ Years of Experience
Location: Denver, CO
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
· Improves architecture by tracking emerging technologies; evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements. Performs coding and/or configuration to meet documented needs, utilizing standard procedures and techniques. Provides technical support and leads the effective problem resolution for customer inquiries and to resolve production issues.
· Works independently and provides guidance within technical area, applying in-depth knowledge of multiple technologies, as appropriate. Understands changing business needs for the area(s) supported and the subsequent impact on applications.
· Facilitates design sessions by presenting logical statements of business problems and designs, and offering and incorporating ideas. Conducts complete diagnosis of most business problems, factoring in a strong understanding of the technical architecture. Able to work some flexible hours, as required by Project Manager, to meet project deadlines
· Required to design components or sub-components and then follow through with the coding, testing and integration of those components, usually working as part of a team, but sometimes on their own Responsible for code quality and adherence to standards
· Develop and maintain new functionality for new web applications and web services according to specifications and within the agreed upon time frame. Works with functional architecture and quality assurance teams to review documentation, address issues and support those roles within the development lifecycle. Provide support to operations team in case of complex issues
· Telecom Domain Experience Highly Preferred.
Skill set: Solution Designer, java, advanced java, web-service, web-servers, Unix, queueing concepts, database concepts, mongo db., security authentication concepts
