Title: Linux Consultant ONLY USC

Location: Richardson, TX

Duration: 1-2 Years

Interview:  Phone and Skype

 

 

Candidates must have the following experience:

·         At least 3 years of coding in C++ using industry standard object oriented design principles

·         Experience developing on Red Hat Linux operating systems

·         Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, bash, etc.

·         Experience with target based debugging

·         Proficiency in industry standard software development tools (such as Subversion, Clearquest/Clearcase, Enterprise Architect or equivalents)

·         Experience in all software lifecycle disciplines including design, implementation, and test

 

The following experience is desirable:

·         Experience with Ethernet-based interfaces, serial interfaces, etc.

·         Experience with IP protocols

·         Experience with RTOS and/or BSP integration

·         Experience with Red Hat RPMs

·         Red Hat certification and Red Hat 7 experience

·         Experience using SNMPv3 to monitor/control equipment

·         Experience of developing software for military applications and/or experience of working government programs

·         Understanding of Network Management fundamentals

·         UML modeling experience

·         Java development on Red Hat and/or Microsoft OSs
