Responsibilities :
i. Gather and document technical/functional requirements

Qualifications Include
• 5 + years of Informatica Administration experience
• 3 + years of experience on the Unix OS as a user

Responsibilities
• Expert knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange 9.x or higher administration on Linux/Unix and Windows server platforms.
• Experience with Big data connector is a plus
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and ability to write moderately complex shell scripts (using ksh, perl, php, etc) to support data integration tasks, automation and testing.
• Ability to monitor and troubleshoot the "end to end" data integration environment comprised of data sources, data workflows and transformations, operating systems, applications, app servers, networks, etc.
• Proficiency in coding moderate to complex SQL logic as part of data extraction processes.
• Ability to make decisions and demonstrate problem solving skills, analysis, prioritization and risk taking.
• Install, upgrade, configure and maintain Informatica components including Power Center, HA grid, Power Exchange on Linux servers.
• Recommend and implement the automation of different administration tasks via UNIX Shell scripts, command-line utilities or maps.
• Understand complex Informatica maps, workflow and session log, and participate in configuring and tuning of respective objects to meet the performance and recovery objectives.
• Perform disaster recovery functions.
• Ensure the integrity, availability, reliability, security, and performance of Informatica platforms, tools, and services.
• Troubleshoot issues related to databases, job failures, software bugs and performance bottlenecks to all incidents working with multiple cross functional teams like DBA, Unix Server Administrator, Informatica Global Support and work on problems and drive them to resolutions.
• Experienced with code promotion - migration of ETL objects from lower environment to production.
• Good understanding of performing administration tasks via UNIX Shell scripts and command-line utilities etc.
• Provide detailed documentation and maintain an Informatica knowledge base repository
