Re: [MTC Global] Regarding the Qualification of M.B.A.Faculty

Dear Professors,
Greetings.

Recently in Karnataka, Commerce candates [People with NET / SLET/ P.hD in M.Com] were allowed to compete along Management candidates[People with NET / SLET/ P.hD in MBA] for Assistant Professor Faculty Posts in Govt. Degree Colleges to teach BBA and B.Com Courses. The matter is KAT court regarding whether or not to allow Commerce Candidates to teach BBA Courses across Karnataka. We need to wait and watch, This may put up some light regarding Eligibility criteria and Confusions regarding Eligibility. Having said that, In one of the notifications from UGC, It is also said that the Respective State governments of that particular state will decide upon Eligibility Criteria for Inter Disciplinary Cases like the above.
