I insist that someone would come. When Fru and his team popped up in 1990 and went on to win the elections but did not achieve the presidency because of Biya's self-owned army, I said at least that a Biya antagonist was there and the for once never heard of opposition was happening then and now. However Biya stays strong because the opposition stays weak because it is divided and playing belly politics. No movement in Cameroon these days seems to be bitten by this opposition bug or virus. Just like I am an HIV professional who has been for 24 years been in the fight against HIV and have not gone anyway near a vaccine, what should I say about what I am seeing happening. What is happening now stuns me but does not shut the future against me my dear Thomas and I don't think my opinion should be shelved or be deemed already so in the 'funny archives' of the 'funny ones' of the past. When someone shall indeed come up for the liberation, and we are both alive, I would no further have any opinion then. I would only smile while remembering that pessimism is thief of progress.

In the last email, we tried to give an overview of why we think and suggest that the Kondengui Central Prison in Yaoundé should be removed from its present location and a new one built on the outskirts of the city. I appreciate the reactions from our fellow citizens either privately or by phone. What I can't stand is anyone telling me what I should or should not write about. As I opined last time, "If you no want die B4 die catch you, pray NEVER to be condemned to serve time in Kondengui "Maximum?" Central Prison. That place is more than Hell on Earth and here is why.
Kondengui "Maximum" Prison is divided into two main sections:The VIP section or (Quartier Speciale) is where you find so-called "Political Prisoners" and other "Dignitaries" which presently comprise 01 former Prime Minister (I hear he is about to be released), 06 former Ministers, 08 (DEGEs) Directeur Generaux and other high ranking "Fonctionnaires" who mistakenly confused Public Treasury for their private ATM Machines.
The other section of Kondengui is called "Popular Side" (which is equally sub divided into several "Quartiers or Blocks". Membership to some of these areas are highly regulated by the more entrenched members of the Prison community especially those condemned to "Life Imprisonment". Here you will discover very dangerous gangs like the infamous "Local 111" (Cent Onze?)
These guys of Local 111 are the most malicious hoodlums you can ever imagine. They work in cahoots with unscrupulous "Gardiens de Prison" to perpetrate heinous crimes in and out of the Prison confines. 111 is the Mafia Center of the Prison. The guys are rich and powerful. They own businesses in the city. YES, their wives get pregnant. (Don't ask me how. But I know you know how).Here is the deal: While the Court system "Locks Up" these individuals for their crimes against the community, paradoxically, our Gardiens de Prison as well as their Chefs with the connivance of their grang Katika called nyagallement "Regisseur de Prison"; take it upon themselves to grant "Temporary" FREEDOM to Prisoners who have MONEY and can "Bien Parler". Some of the Gardiens even end up as "Body Guards" to these "Dignitaries" of another specie.
HOMOSEXUALITYThe crimes of "Sodom and Gomorrah" pale in comparison to what goes on in broad daylight in Kondengui. Sex is a constant and given the promiscuous proclivity of the environment, no one seems to care anymore. It is simply a nightmarish scenario and I would prefer not to elucidate any furtheron this topic. Folks; it is BAD, VERY VERY BAD...dixit Donald Trump.
DRUGSAgain, the go-between, middlemen and smugglers are the same Gardiens de Prison who are supposed to preserve Law, Order and Peace amongst inmates. The situation is so dire that, we hear some Police Officers who used to "Curse-out" Prison Warders as the "Last-Coco" profession are now planning to resign and join the "Gardiens de Prison Profession". Check this out! Kondengui Prison Warders have an official daily "Tontine / Njangui" of CFA 5000 to 10,000F. These are category C Officers with a salary of about 75,000F CFA.The saying goes that if you are a Drug Addict, simply consult with Kondengui.
LE FAUX DOKKYIf you are a champion of "Cooking Adorro Dokky" then the epicenter of Dokky Manufacture is Kondengui. Those guys are capable of cooking an "Original Le Faux" PhD that can make a Ngnie man like Mishe suddenly be called "Professor Mishe". It is an intricate web warped in a labyrinth of Lies, Deceit, Criminality and Feymania. All of that inside Kondengui.
