Business Analyst with Oil and Gas Experience

Houston, TX

Duration: Long term

 

Here are some key attributes we are looking in this profile: 

1. Oil and Gas experience with BA/QA domain experience (5+ is preferred. More is better) 
2. Person should be able to work with client in capturing business design and requirement 
3. Person should be able to articulate business design into technical solution and discuss optionality for solution with difficult team
4. Person should be able to run design sessions and proficient in facilitating conversations 
5. Person should have worked in Agile and Iterative development model
6. Person should have worked in complex team with challenging people 
7. TFS/Scrum Knowledge 
8. Knowledge of how to develop test case and do functional, integration and end to end  product testing
9. Knowledge of test automation is not mandatory but its highly preferred 

Soft Skills 

1. Communicates effectively with any audience, including executive team members, management and main line business user
2. Works with leadership team to identify, track and mitigates risks to scope, schedule and quality
3. Exhibits ability to maintain attention to detail while keeping eye on the big picture
4. Negotiates strongly for a win/win, identifying best outcomes for client
5. Innovative mindset
