Experience Desired - 8+ years
Desired Skillsets:
· Very good in RDBMS concepts
· Good Exposure with Day-to-day dba activities
· Exposure to work with ASE 15.7 or higher on Linux
· Expertise in ASE Installation, EBF and upgrade
· Exposure with various DBCCs, optdiag, update statistics, MDA etc
· Expertise in Query troubleshooting and server tuning.
· Good in backup and recovery
· Flexible to provide On-Call Support
· Ability to work independently on multiple tasks
· Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing
· Working Experience with netbackup for database backup and restore
· Good in Unix shell scripting
· Exposure to work with database developers
· Good understanding and working knowledge on ITIL Best Practices |
