Software Development Sr. Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:  Build large, high-volume and responsive ecommerce web application  Work with business and technology colleagues in self-directed high-ownership teams to determine software requirement and system impacts  Work with other architects to independently perform full system component design, including Technical Specification Documentation Creates design specifications for high availability and highly scalable applications which will be used by both internal and external customers.  Develop high quality, scalable, and maintainable code – CODE TEST IF YOU HAVE TO Cultivate engineering excellence practices in the team and mentor junior developers.  Responsible for ensuring quality of work as well as the work of the entire development team  Plan and perform unit and integration tests via automation to fully test and regress software  Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery Practice Lean/Agile  Additional Job Details:  Qualification:  10+ years of relevant work experience with 3+ years in building web portals and/or ecommerce applications using the following technologies:  C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF/Web API, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, NServiceBus, NHibernate or any other ORM, StructureMap, AutoMapper, log4Net, ReSharper, TeamCity.  Needs experience in RabbitMQ or messaging technologies (MSMQ)  3+ years of experience in leading engineering teams  Strong .NET Framework skills  Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design skill  Strong Interpersonal Skills - ability to work with people with a variety of skill sets Experience with T-SQL and SQL Server 2005/2008/2012  Experience with TDD/BDD.  Unit testing with frameworks similar to NUnit or SpecFlow and Mocking frameworks similar to Rhino Mocks and Moq, Integration Testing, and System Testing abilities, including automated testing techniques using Selenium or similar tool.  REST and Web Services experience  Understanding of SOLID OOP principles  Top technical responsibilities of the position: .NET MVC, WCF/Web API, , AJAX, JSON, jQuery, NHibernate, Entity Framework or any other ORM, Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design skill Unit testing with frameworks similar to NUnit or SpecFlow  Will work directly with the Responsive dell.com architect on the next generation TTI, Scaling, Cloud, Denormalization, SEO, and DB solutions work architecture.  The candidate must have experience with complex eCommerce sites or job experience that demonstrates complex business solutions. The individual must be an excellent communicator.  REST and Web Services experience  This is certainly more of a back-end role. If the candidates doesn't have RESTful experience I would pass. You are going to want to target 10+ years of experience.   A few direct comments from the team:  - Has received many candidates where their communication was terrible.  - Prior experience is important. We need to look for those people who have some complex experience in their background.
