@Mishefon: Re: [cameroon_politics] ALIKO DANGOTE CEMENT FACTORY DESTROYED BY ETHIOPIAN VANDALS IN ADA BERGE, ETHIOPIA

Mishefon,

I read your below story, then checked with all Nigerian papers this morning but could not find the story in any of the papers, I checked BBC and it claims the news was being reported by a local Ethiopian newspaper but it does not confirm if it is true or not.

I saw the picture of a trailer burning but not sure if it was carrying cement or if it is from Dangote Cement Ethiopia. I have searched but no picture of the vandalized factory. If this was true it would have been on all the Nigerian papers this morning.

Bro, kindly recheck the veracity of the story you posted and confirm if possible.

Regards

Tumasang

Subject: [cameroon_politics] ALIKO DANGOTE CEMENT FACTORY DESTROYED BY ETHIOPIAN VANDALS IN ADA BERGE, ETHIOPIA

A Group of Protesters Destroy Dangote’s Cement Factory in Ethiopia

dangote cement factory A group protesting the death of about 55 people in a stampede that occurred in the Oromia region of Ethiopia have viciously attacked and almost completely destroyed (DCF) Dangote Cement Factory belonging to Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.
The protesters burnt down trucks and machinery at the Dangote Cement Factory in Ada Berge, Oromia. They also burnt down a Police station and allegedly set prisoners free in the Bule Hora region of the country.
The cause of the stampede was said to have been orchestrated by unscrupulous trigger-happy Security Officers opening fire at a festival, killing about 55 innocent civilians in its wake. A courtroom and government-owned vehicles were also torched. A state of emergency has been declared in the region
