Requirement:
Position: PL/SQL Developer
Location: New York City, NY

Job Description:
Technical expert in the development of very highly sophisticated and complex front office and security master applications for a major functional and/or product area within the securities businesses.
This candidate will be a key resource in a sophisticated service and platform for processing market and reference data and providing data analytics for multiple trading, risk, and middle office compliance, desktop and reporting applications aligned with equities, fixed income, derivatives and multi asset trading desks.
This candidate will need to have an in depth understanding of product and market data across multiple asset types, and also have an understanding of the different analytics that can be derived and used by trading systems.
Candidate will need to have expertise in using vendor APIs from vendors like Bloomberg, Reuters, OCC, S&P, MarkIT, ACTIV, etc.
Skills:
much have market data experience, in capital markets
moving from Sybase to Oracle/SQL
8-10 years, not someone with 20+ years of experience
must have Perl
must have Oracle/SQL, and understand Sybase on Linux RedHat
Education/Experience:
*) 4 years Bachelor's Degree
*) 5+ years of experience in Capital Markets
*) 3+ years of handling market data
*) 5+ years of Oracle database, including debugging queries, writing stored procedures, views, performance tuning, etc.
*) 2-3 years of Sybase database, including debugging queries, writing stored procedures, views, performance tuning, etc.
*) Options, Futures, Indices and ETF
*) Market data
*) Relational Database
*) Time-series, columnar databases
*) Shell/Perl Scripts
*) Risk Analytics and technology
*) Proficiency with Market data and tools.
*) ETL design tools
*) Proficiency in Equities and Derivatives Asset Types
