Our top client, located in the (Rocky Hill / Hartford, CT) is currently seeking a (Full Stack Java Engineer) resource to join their organization. Job Role: Full Stack Java Engineer
Location: Rocky Hill / Hartford, CT
Duration: 3-6 Months

 

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?
Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to perform in all of the skills pertaining to web application development, UI design, and batch workflows using Java technology stack.
Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA
Troubleshoots production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions
Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of Java developed projects
Commitment to anticipating, understanding and meeting the needs of internal and external requirements

 

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
Eclipse / STS
SQL Developer
Telnet/Putty

 

What skills/attributes are a must have?
Core Java, Hibernate, Spring, JSF, JSP, JavaScript
Mule ESB
Apache Tomcat
6+ years of experience with the System Development Life Cycle
5+ years of experience in Web Application development using Java, JSP, Servlets, JEE, Spring, JSF and Hibernate technologies
3+ years of experience in JavaScript and Ajax.
2+ years of relational database experience
Experience using Mule ESB
Will be expected to function as a mentor for junior developers, providing assistance where needed
Expertise in Application Architecture, Object Oriented Design Patterns and Database Design.

 

What skills/attributes are nice to have?
1+ years of Angular JS, JQuery, Spring Security
1 year of experience in single page application (SPA) using Angular 2 JS or Backbone.
Experience with Agile development using Scrum
Experience using Alfresco for document management
