Role: DevOps Engineer 

Location: Orlando, FL

Duration: 1 year

Mode of interview: would be good if Local if not then Non Local will work 

MUST HAVE HAD THEIR GC FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS

Qualified candidates will have a strong background in DevOps, experience with Java coding, and a solid understanding of the installation and configuration of JBoss products. 

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Design, develop, engineer, implement, and test build automation processes

• Monitor, manage, maintain, and refine build automation processes and utilize industry best practices

• Provide input and technical recommendations to project leaders and architects

• Work independently and collaboratively to overcome obstacles, solve problems and accomplish objectives

Position-specific Required Skills:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

• Work experience that is directly applicable consisting of 12+ months of experience in build automation tools and systems administration and configuration, for each of the following:

1. Linux – RHEL highly-preferred

2. JBoss – EAP, A-MQ, Fuse, Camel, BRMS, DROOLS, Data Grids

3. Maven – understanding and troubleshooting dependencies, POM and BOM management

4. Scripting – shell, groovy, chef, puppet, gradle

5. Version Control – Git, Jazz Rational, Branching/Merging/Tagging

6. Java – Spring, Hibernate, Apache Commons, Log4J, JUnit, Arquillian

7. Code Quality Tools – Sonarqube, Checkstyle, Findbugs

8. Build Tools – Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Docker

9. Agile – Scrum, Standups, Sprint Planning, ALM tools

• Ability to author with little-to-no supervision:

1. Sequence diagrams

2. Process flows

3. PowerPoint decks

4. Other documentation

• Promotes active listening with team members

• Contributes appropriately to conversations

• Follows through with commitments and fosters mutual trust with fellow Innovators

• Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with team members
