Teachers' strike continues on Monday, Transporters to join

After a long day's deliberations at the Ntamulung Church Centre, leaders of Teachers Trade Unions considered some of the 'gifts' from the Prime Minister and concluded that they were not clear enough for them to suspend the strike, talk less of calling it off.
Taking and analysing each point and pointing out where clarifications are needed the press release issued thereafter concluded:
"In the meantime, the indefinite strike action which started on 21 November 2016 will continue until satisfactory answers are given to all the issues raised or identified so far. Nevertheless, the Ad hoc Committee can get to work next week while waiting for these clarifications to be made."
