I agree totally with your piece. I don't know why many of these Ambazonians think the name change before winning our independence is necessary. History is not on their side. The key question you asked is how do you restore something that never existed? It gives the impression that we are like Biafra or even South Sudan which were part of a country that renamed itself and seceded. Unlike Biafra, our case is like Gambia's which broke off its union with Senegal. Why are these Ambazonians willing to confuse the historical facts which are on our side? The Southern Cameroons can be re- named Ambazonia after the battle is won but these fellows are tone deaf. At a time when Biya and his agents are sowing confusion about the country's history, these Ambazonians are unwittingly promoting his agenda. It is sad indeed.

1: As BRITISH CAMEROONIANS, We are a free thinking people and the fact is that there has never been a sovereign entity ever recognised called AMBAZONIA, however that does not stop you calling your AMBAZONIA a movement or a cult or a religious group as you like but not as our country.
Sir, what is also not right is for you to assume AMBAZONIA is what everybody wants and must accept as successor to an existing previously recognised nation. However, if you truly shall like BRITISH CAMEROON to be in future called AMBAZONIA, or AMAZON, or BAMBAZONIA, or CAMBAZONIA, or DAMBAZONIA or whatever name you like, then please keep that for a future date. It is your absolute right to have such creative desires as we want creativity and creative people in our future nation.
For the time being, a better thing to do is to call yourself a political party or a religious cult, or a movement like MORISC, but not a sovereign nation. You cannot restore what never existed. Names such as AMBAZONIA, or AMAZON, or BAMBAZONIA, or CAMBAZONIA, or DAMBAZONIA ARE ALL personal ambitions of changing the name from BRITISH CAMEROON but this is not accepted by ALL. The name AMBAZONIA as experienced in LONDON during demonstrations dilutes and distracts our overall objective to 'SAFE BRITISH CAMEROON'. Sir, such dilutions can be considered by some people as a CPDM inspired distraction if persistent and so may require a small scale targeted internal isolation from mainstream BRITISH CAMEROON objective.
2: For completeness and in being balanced, I shall be wrong to write the same thing about SCNC, or SCAPO, which are movements or organisations. There is sense in these names and the prefix of these acronyms of SCNC, SCAPO = Southern Cameroons because a legal entity had previously existed called SOUTHERN CAMEROONS before. There is also sense in saying BRITISH CAMEROON, because there has been a LEGAL entity called BRITISH CAMEROON before. SCNC/SCAPO are better and more sensible names as they refer to organisations and not a nation as implied by AMBAZONIA, AMAZON, BAMBAZONIA, CAMBAZONIA, DAMBAZONIA or whatever you name like. PLEASE USE BRITISH CAMEROON AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND KEEP AMBAZONIA for another day.
3: Therefore FOR NOW OUR OBJECTIVE IS 'TO SAFE BRITISH CAMEROON' INTO AN INDEPENDENT STATE OR FULL AUTONOMY FEDERATION WITH RIGHT TO SECEDE.
YESTERDAY in LONDON, I was impressed by some of your members whom after reflecting on what I told them toned down their distraction and focused on 'SAVING BRITISH CAMEROON'. I hope you shall be next and we can wrap up this APARTHEID NONSENSE IN OUR HOMELAND.
If you have a better point I am open to hear and learn from it. But please do not write TOO MUCH and number it as I have done for you.

As for us the VICTIM OF THIS BILINGUAL EXPERIMENT which essentially since 1984 became the annexation and RECOLONIZATION of Ambazonia, let us not make that same old mistake of the past by "PLAYING THE POLITICAL GAME" before we have secured our country! This was the same game that caused Foncha & Co to not realize that TERMINATION OF TRUSTEESHIP and GRANTING INDEPENDENCE to that Trusteeship are "two sides of the same coin"!
This tendency of "politicization of the Emancipation Quest" continues today and reason why politicians are still NOT respecting facts if our history and principles that support the facts of our case! As for instance not obeying simple natural rules like "strive to serve your best interest always"! And in our particular case, to paused and find the prerequisites! what must be in place before independence can happen to a people in a region!
And because this our legitimate case of independence had always being the victim of politics, we have in place today this political culture that doesn't respect FACTS and the PRINCIPLES that support it. It is reason why even young entrants into the EQ have joined the refrain that summarily rejects the concept of unique IDENTITY and NATIONALISM for our people! It is why it can be said that "certain portions" of our history has been skipped by some politicians so as not to validate AMBAZONIA's argument. Case in point from 1961 when the fateful Federal United Cameroon Republics came into existence to 1984 when Restoration Law84/001 ended this confederation, you have inherent here three internationally recognized principles:(1) the principle of states creation and states extinction !(2) the principle of sovereign inviolability!(3) the principle of no statute of limitation in the restitution of justice
The Republic of Ambazonia came into existence by the operation of the RESTORATION law 84/001 approved by the parliament of the Cameroon confederation ! This law basically the 1961 confederation allowing Ambazonia to inherited the sovereignty of the now extinct Southern Cameroons just as equally as the Republic of Cameroon did when it reverted back to its 1960 sovereign status.
Therefore the claim that we are a ONE AND INDIVISIBLE CAMEROON STATE only goes to confirm the annexationist designs of pan Cameroonia as well as the Cameroon's morbid need to spin the BIG LIE so the world goes not know Ambazonia is the successor state of the Southern Cameroons!
If not can anyone answer this question? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SOUTHERN CAMEROONS-- the other sovereign party of the 1961 Cameroon Confederation?
Therefore those who continue to deny and oppose this timely legally and constitutionally valid tactic of the AMBAZONIAN RESTORATION COUNCIL (ARC) to recover the Southern Cameroons sovereignty as Ambazonia are essentially agreeing with the Paul Biya in his latest 2017 New year speech that we are one united and indivisible country!
NOTE THAT taking responsibility means WE MUST CORRECT Mistakes if our past BEFORE ENGAGING THE EQ! We must obey the "single reason" theory!
That the "single reason" Foncha & Co failed to realize that ending the UK Trusteeship and starting AMBAZONIA's independence are two sides of same coin was because they conducted SOVEREIGNTY POLITICS without the benefit of a distinct identity and nationalism for their people. Ambazonia is has permanently and irreversibly resolved this problem!!
Yet today we can still be seen calling ourselves SOUTHERN CAMEROONIANS thirty two years after Ambazonia rescued our people from total annexation!
