Position: Google Support Tech

Location: Des Moines, IA

Duration: Long Term

Interview: In-Person Only

Rate: $40/hr on C2C


Description:
As the State moves to Google agencies are looking for recommendations to solve problems either as a cause of the migration, or to fill future needs. The candidate must have the ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in technical planning.

Required 5+ Years Experience

  • Experience with Google for Business or Google for Government native Applications including but not limited to Google Drive, Forms, Docs, and Sheets
  • Knowledge of Google Sites with the ability to implement as a solution for existing sites including SharePoint.

Examples of Daily Responsibilities:

  1. Converting Outlook Forms into Google Forms. Utilizing existing apps, extensions and add-ons to replicate existing processes into Google.
  2. Google Site's as a replacement for Sharepoint, or existing agency Intranet sites.
  3. Google Apps tools as solutions to replace Access database/applications and their functions.
  4. Working with agency staff to determine, and develop Google processes to replace existing Outlook Public Folders.
  5. Utilizing Google Apps to provide solutions for agencies where an existing application does not already exist.

Additional Requirement

  • Shall maintain a positive working relationship with coworkers, supervisors and customers and present a positive team environment and customer focus.
  • Possess strong communications skills.
  • Able to work on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Shall adhere to OCIO work rules.
