Position: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Omaha, NE
Duration: 4 month contract
Visa : GC EAD, GC or USC only
Senior Network Engineer experienced in supporting network using CISCO equipment. Here are some key points I am looking for.
• Person needs to reside in Omaha, NE (no remote engagements) – must sit onsite
• Ability to support LANs, WAN, and Wireless Networks
• CISCO Support Routers, Witches, Core Switches etc. (model names can be provided)
• CISCO Nexus 9K support (troubleshooting a big help)
• VLAN support
• Troubleshooting performance, setup and configuration of networking
• Experience working with WAN carriers (AT&T, Sprint, CenturyLink)
• Ability to be on-call weekends and nights
• Experienced with migrating to different carriers for WAN (currently on Sprint moving to AT&T)
• Experience with SolarWinds helpful
• Windows OS Experience helpful
They are switching their WAN carrier from AT&T to Centurylink. Anyone with proficient experience in a WAN Switchover would be a very qualified candidate.
