Job Description:

 

Job Title:Sr. Java Backend Engineer 

Location:Milpitas, CA

Mode of Interview: Face to Face

Duration:Contract (6+ months with extension)

Visa Status:Citizen, Green Card, H1B

Someone coming from networking background is must (ex: network company like Cisco, Juniper Networks, etc)

Must Provide Passport copy, I-94 and H1B copy for client submission

 

 

Responsibilities:

        Will be responsible for architecting and developing various modules of the company's application's web, middle, and database tiers.

        Will collaborate directly with a cross-functional team of Developers, QA, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the design and development process.

Must Haves:

·  7+ years of Java development experience

·  Solid foundation in computer science with strong competency in data structures, algorithms, databases, and object oriented software design

·  Strong experience  with Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Tomcat, Maven, and Git

·  Experience working with Linux, SQL, Oracle Database

Desired:

·  Strong knowledge of PowerBuilder, Shell Scripting a big plus

·  Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and DevOps  functions.

·  BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline- big plus

·  Solid understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies a plus
