My take is:
- Though in HE we talk about OBE, no attention is paid to the outcomes desired/expected.
- Mind set is; Degree paper is important, skill development follow automatically or not required because of the (outdated existing) mechanism and behavior of a system.
- Theory passing is managed by students, no need to carry out practicals meticulously.
- No national wage policy. Skilled workforce is poorly paid.
- We need to revisit the concept of "Skill Development".
- We need to identify the actual skills required on the field.

Why is it felt? Is it too much focus on curriculum or mindset, or existing education system?
