Re: [MTC Global] SKILL INDIA ~ Facts and Figures

India being a vast country with huge diversity in its socio-economic-political-geographical orientation, I believe , along with the skill-development initiatives taken up by Government , the following measures may be fruitful...

1. More focus on apprenticeship.
2. Integrate Skill Development initiatives with curriculum.
3. Making cluster with SME and deliver the skill development program to absorb the skilled workforce.
4. Along with Smart cities , create smarter villages through rural skill development programs to explore the local resources and ensure market access/connect to sell the product/services.
5. A thorough performance evaluation of the existing skill development programs and corrective measures.
6. Vocational courses starting from the school level.
7. A Television channel on this will create much awareness about skill development, prospect, creativity linking skill India with Start-up India.
8. Do our little bit to contribute in this area.

Thanks and Best Regards,

…. Are you saying that, "we must feel happy that we are in second place" in Skill Shortage !!

Unfortunately, we are sitting over a ticking time-bomb – a lethal combination of far too many young, unskilled and unemployable youth, with a growing population nurturing high aspirations, and limited new job creation to engage them gainfully ….. it is a recipe for impending 'social unrest' , if not taken care of in judicious manner …..

Dear MTCians,

As a Indian we must feel happy that we are in second place. When we compare to American we must feel great since we're in developing nation.
