Re: [MTC Global] What do you think is the future of business education?

Dear Prof Dutta and Colleagues:

1. Thank you, Prof. Dutta, for raising a very pertinent, contemporary, and critical topic.

2. In my "learned" opinion, the following four trends will prevail in all Businesses, and hence in Business Management Education as well:

2.1 "Social Media", and all media, will drive the various processes, products, and services. This includes Business Management Education as well;

2.2 "Mobility" will the new "Mantra". Every service, product, process will be "on demand" "pay per use" and "on the go" basis

2.3 "Analytics" will dominate all businesses. Big Data and Data Analytics will rule all Information Assimilation, Storage, Processing, Distribution, Utilization, and Commercialization; and

2.4 "Cloud"is where everything will reside. The Data Servers, the Hardware, the Software, and the Mindware. There will be no "Personal Computers"such as Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, etc. The Mobile Phone, or Cell Phone, will be ubiquitous.

3. In short, the world will be hit by "SMAC" Social Media, Mobility, Analytics, and Cloud.

4. Would love to hear the feedback, comments, and reactions from our other esteemed colleagues, as well.
