Re: An exhortation to our Freedom fighters (during these grave moments)

Okay, Val., I hear you....

THE LEGACY OF AMBAZONIA  (UN Trust Territory of British Cameroons): The Parliamentary Opposition, ...forged for itself a new role noteworthy for its dignity; and the government,..never attempted to withdraw...the legal recognition that was its due. Thanks to this...West Cameroon has won for itself the prestige of being the one place in West Africa (if not all of Africa) where democracy, in the British style, has lasted longest in its genuine form.  --Prof. Bernard Nsukika Fonlon, The Task of Today, p. 9

Justice,
I am glad I finally received a mail from you. Could you kindly send me a more personal one NOT through ambasbay@googlegroups. As for my use of 'ambazonia' DO NOT BE  WORRIED FOR IT IS PURELY FOR UNOFFICIAL PURPOSES. For now Southern Cameroons is tyhe official name of our country, but to flatter some people at times I call it 'Ambazonia".

Dear Bretheren
I know I had posted this before but the moments have become very tense again and we are at  very trying moments. It is said the darkest part of the night is at dawn. Just read on...
"Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
9 And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
12 But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
13 And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword."
Fellow Ambazonians, why do I extract this for us? Now is the moment. Our Moses is the leaders of the strike in Cameroon now which represents the Amalekites in these Bible verses. We, each one of us should consider himself Aaron and Hur and the "rod of God" is this strike. We have to, each one of us, hold up this "rod of God" if we wish to reach the Promised Land. "when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed." Once the strike halts La Republique will prevail and when the strike is on Ambazonians will prevail. Let us all take "a stone, and put it under him (the strike), and let the strike sit "thereon; and we hold up the strike, "the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and let the strike be steady until the going down of the sun" and we shall "discomfit La Republique du Cameroun and his people with the edge of the sword."
My dear countrymen I hope my idea is captured in this small piece even if it is poorly crafted. It is time all of us support our heroes in anyway that we can in order to be free from this bondage. Our fellow traitors in this forum just give us a chance and be objective. You should know the story of Dr Faustus in Christopher Malowe's  The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus.
To those who are not familiar with this story, here is a summary for you:
"Faust is bored and depressed with his life as a scholar. After an attempt to take his own life, he calls on the Devil for further knowledge and magic powers with which to indulge all the pleasure and knowledge of the world. In response, the Devil's representative, Mephistopheles, appears. He makes a bargain with Faust: Mephistopheles will serve Faust with his magic powers for a set number of years, but at the end of the term, the Devil will claim Faust's soul, and Faust will be eternally damned. The term usually stipulated in the early tales is 24 years, one year for each of the hours in a day.
During the term of the bargain, Faust makes use of Mephistopheles in various ways. In many versions of the story, particularly Goethe's drama, Mephistopheles helps Faust seduce a beautiful and innocent girl ( liken to Southern Cameroons), usually named Gretchen, whose life is ultimately destroyed. However, Gretchen's innocence saves her in the end, and she enters Heaven. In Goethe's rendition, Faust is saved by God's grace via his constant striving—in combination with Gretchen's pleadings with God in the form of the Eternal Feminine. However, in the early tales, Faust is irrevocably corrupted and believes his sins cannot be forgiven; when the term ends, the Devil carries him off to Hell."
The morale of this story is that making any bargain with the devil always results in a dreadful end. The traitors should choose now before the devil comes for their souls.
