Re: [MTC Global] Why Many Asian Students Are Turning to Malaysia for Higher Education?

It is no surprise.

  1. Malaysia, erstwhile Malay kingdom, got freedom on 31/8/1957, land mass about 330,803 sq-km, population over 30m.
  2. Malaysia took a lead in education just a decade ago adopting the philosophy of OBE (see the attachment), implemented it seriously with determination, in letter and spirit, over a decade. We see the results today.
  3. Malaysia is economically strong, international tourist destination and maintaining high GDP from the last 5 decades.
  4. Many Indian States are bigger than Malaysia both area and population wise but unfortunately they do not have footprint even in India.
  5. WE need to walk the talk.
  6. How many universities/institutes accredited (NAAC/NBA/ISO) have practiced OBE?

Subject: [MTC Global] Why Many Asian Students Are Turning to Malaysia for Higher Education?
UNESCO hasmarked Malaysiaas the 12th most preferred education destination in the world. This ranking, whichilluminates which countries attract the most overseas students.

Given its inclusive environment, students from West and South Asia are turning to Malaysia, where the universities are focusing on quality education.

Is 'Study in India' losing ground to smaller countrieslike Malaysia?
