It is wrong to impugn the character of Wirba with unfounded allegations and speculations.

our people die for want of wisdom. When I look at our people, I realised that generally mankind is a VERY DULL being. Come to think of it, when Christ came the first time only 3 people in the whole of mankind knew about it and realised it was time for his coming and these 3 were considered as "mugos" or fools at the time although we call them 3 wise men today.
Wirba cannot run to safety for fear of arrest as he claimed Ni John and the speaker did not protect him and then willingly go back and be talking to be arrested as he previously feared.
Even a numb skull will realise that Wirba must have made a deal with Cameroun secret service for a safe passage back home.
Faced with pro independence majority, La Republique realised the danger inherent in the situation. It's think tanks realised that they have to prop up pro federation activists as a counter balancing force to weaken the pro independence majority. Using various proxies, they must have contacted Wirba and gave him assurance to come back and he will not be arrested and he will be given a free hand to talk about federalism if he so pleases. Members of parliament and even the speaker does not seem to be privy to the deal.
The above is a clear as ABC to any analyst worth his salt so I am surprised people are not see it. Wirba cannot just change his mind and surface in Cameroun without any guarantees. Who are we fooling. His job in Cameroun at the moment is to come and promote West Cameroon, and to promote Federalism of 10 states, 4 states or 2 states as the case might be as a back up plan for La Republique du Cameroun in case things go out of control and they need to sell federalism to the Southern Cameroons population.

You did not hold your breath the first time we heard form Hon. Wirba. What is different this time? Let the struggle keep hoping for a real hero. One could in hope come some day. The real hero shall come looking very like Wirba and the others before him. The Martin Luther Kings and the Madelas were the products of the hopes of a struggling people. Give us the distinguishing characteristics of real horoes and we will stop hoping against hope.NDI MANJONGI wouldn't rush to say anything. Ambazonians make heroes without first knowing who they are. Hold you breath until you see who they are. No comment on the come back.
