Welcome Back to the Bay The Federation that Never Was

Greetings and welcome back. We have just scaled one hurdle on the glorious road to Buea. We say thanks  to all who toiled to clear up some bugs planted by our adversary and his agents. The Bay is back with its circa 3500 members intact. Now onward children of Ambazonia! We have work to do. O let me reveal that we've upgrades other resources as well. Pride of place is Southern Cameroonians the World Over on Facebook The last time I checked, the group had 40.000 members mostly our very own Android Generation.  Their resilience and level of understanding of the fabulous story of Ambazonia has been a joy to watch. The internet outage slowed us down from the target 100.000. That will be achieved shortly. There are many other groups and resources being developed. To God be the Glory. Welcome home.  Ntemfac Prophet Ofege

Good morning. Philemon Yang, the Prime Minister of French Cameroun, now proclaims that federalism is no longer a tabou subject. The question is who, beyond a handful of misguided Southern Cameroonians, is interested in federalism? Let us state the facts. Verifiable facts. In 1961, much against the demand for outright independence as stated in the Trust Agreement which she signed in 1945, Great Britain connived with France to impose an illegal separate "independence by joining" Plebiscite on both the British Southern Cameroons and the British Northern Cameroons. The Plebiscite was a process that was to end with a formal vote on the independence of the Southern and Northern Cameroons by the full sitting of the UN General Assembly. That session took place in the night of August 21, 1961 when UN Resolution 1608XV was voted. There were three votes. Vote No 1 was to formally end the British Trust in the BSC. 50 countries voted YES for that. There were 6 NO votes and 2 abstentions. Vote No 2 was on the independence, I repeat independence, of Southern Cameroons. 50 countries voted for the independence of Southern Cameroon's. There were 6 votes against and 2 abstentions. French Cameroun voted against the independence of Southern Cameroons. The USA voted for the independence of Southern Cameroons. Pay attention, this is very important. Vote No 3 was for jointing or federating or confederating or union between Southern Cameroons and French Cameroun. France, French Cameroun or la Republique du Cameroun, and all of francophone Africa, except Mali, VOTED AGAINST any union between French Cameroun and Southern Cameroons. So what federalism is the Rt. Hon. Yang talking about? The one they voted against?!!!. However the UN had forced an international conference between herself, Britain, France and French Cameroun to discuss a possibly modus vivendi between the two now independent states. France and French Cameroun connived a joke called a Constitutional Conference in Foumban in 1961. Instead of discussing serous issues concerning a federation the corrupt and crooked Ahidjo regime brought out Foumban prostitutes and whiskey to entertain the Southern Cameroonians. No serious discussion took place the the corrupt French Cameroun gvt simply offered to adjust her 1960 constitution to annex Southern Cameroons under a fake and empty and federation in name only. The annexation became effective when French Cameroun passed a law in Yaoundé, called 1961 Federal Constitution, annexing Southern Cameroons. This law was signed by the president of French Cameroun alone. The PM of Southern Cameroons did not sign it. It was never ratified by the Southern Cameroons House of Assembly. French Cameroun then poured its soldiers and citizens into Southern Cameroons where it has since been in savage colonial exploitation without showing any land title like a Treaty of Union between the two states. Yaounde is running all over the UN and AU today like a mad cow looking for a Treaty of Union with Southern Cameroons. There is none. Chair SCAPO- Ways and Means Commission.
