Re: GREAT DISCOVERY: LETTER FROM FRENCH AMBASSADOR IN CAMEROON OUTLINING PLANS OF ASSIMMILATION OF THE SOUTHERN CAMEROONS

In the course of life, I have noted that trickery or lack of respect is not sustainable in any relationship. The end is heart ache: trust disappears and is replaced with suspension. For those of us who are married, this often leads to irreconcilable differences that frequently result in separation or worse divorce. Small wonder, we find ourselves in similar position.

Many of us have also missed the fact that West Cameroon had vibrant diplomatic and expatriate presence during the Federal hay days as evidenced by the presence of French Consul despite a very small citizenry presence and until date the Nigerian consul is still present in Buea.

How did that work out for them!!! They wanted me to learn French which I did. I also learned English even more maintaining to their dismay my anglo saxon
cultural background. Fifty seven years later the experiment and the outcome are a mess with Southern Cameroonians clamoring to go back home. They say palm oil and water cannot mix well.

Great discovery. Attached is a letter by the French Ambassador in Cameroon 1967, detailing plans for the assimilation of the Southern Cameroons(Ambazonia). Just everything the Teachers were complaining about and what underscores our ROOT PROBLEM which is failed Independence by Joining.
