Re: [MTC Global] Article- China's Road to Doklam- A No Entry Zone.

Sir,
You say Bharat is a peace loving nation, it has never started a war. But at the same
time, witness the long war in which Bharat made only feeble attempts to stop the
bloodshed. In the end the Tamils suffered immensely in the aftermath of the defeat of the
LTTE.
You say, war has always been imposed by outside powers and India resisted. In 1962, India
suffered reverses. India accepted the loss of territory and the border problem with China
remains a troubled legacy till date.
In 1971, the country signed the Simla Agreement with Pakistan which has since been
annulled and led to the Kargil adventure. We remained confined to our side of the LOC and
lost our soldiers. We were unable to rein in Pakistan.
Now Pakistan and China have joined together and see a strategy to cut Bharat to size by
launching a covert war. Actively thru' propaganda by China and by Pakistan sending armed
terrorists into J&K to wreak havoc and causing the armed forces into suppressing
destructive activities and social disturbances. Pakistan denies any role in them but
insisting that Kashmir is an unsettled dispute between the two countries.
I wonder what kind of peace Bharat is left under such circumstances.
Best Regards,
K.Paranjpe

जंग किसी समस्या का हल नहीं है।  जंग हो जाने के बाद भी तो समस्या का हल टेबल पर बैठ कर ही किया जायेगा
तो इतनी बर्बादी क्यों ? सोचने का विषय है।
Bharat is a peace loving country and follows Panchsheel. Bharat never starts a war. But
she is prepared for war if it is imposed upon her. War is not a solution to any issue
between two or more than two countries. Even after the war is concluded, the countries'
representatives had to sit across the table to solve the issue. So, why not sit before
the war and settle the issue and avoid devastating war. Think, think and resolve the
issues dear China.

Good, well-researched article. GNH - the acronym used is appreciated. True, military
supremacy cannot make a country super power.

When Kauravas and Pandavas were asked to divide the arsenal on one side and Lord Krishna
- the greatest strategist and motivator on the other side, Kauravas preferred arsenal
i.e. artillery, army etc. and Lord Krishna became the part of the army of Pandas.
Kaurvas were 100 brothers while Pandavas were 5 brothers. Who won the war? Pandvas.
पंख होने से कुछ नहीं होता हौसलों से उड़ान होती है
जंग सामान से नहीं जिगर से होती है।
