with the imposition and enactment of this Act; teachers also be made more accountable. Weekly student feedback to parents, weekly tests, monthly reports etc., should be made compulsory and parents involvement needs to be re-enforced and monitored efficiently.

Scrapping of no-detention policy is a bad move by the govt.I personally feel that this would further increase the dropout ratio.However the pvt schools stand unaffected but it is the govt schools that suffers. Parents of govt school students may demotivate their child to continue, if they are detained.
