You know what? Colonisation and assimilation are the processes of transferring a person 's allegiance from his own country to a foreign country. We can see that LRC had already succeeded with some people. I guess these reasoners would also have told Africans not to fight colonisation but simply to face the problem squarely! Foolish talk!
These reasoners never ask themselves why countries are continuously being born, why communism did not succeed, why the whole of Africa, which is one contiguous landmass is not one country, etc. They want us to believe that the Southern Cameroons problem is similar to that of the Bassa or Ewondo man. Sorry, brothers, it is not so and will never be so.
Again and again, no good laws can cure the southern Cameroons problem within the context of one Cameroon. First of all, this is a game of numbers. Any one Cameroon formula is a formula for the abolition of the southern Cameroonian identity and culture. There is nothing anyone can do about that. Those who love LRC so much that they can only live under its rule should simply become its citizens and leave our southern Cameroons to us. That is a very simple and workable solution to these reasoners.
Deceitful or foolish talk will not help. I cannot believe that there are still human beings running away from self-rule when others are going to war to rule themselves!

Sunday, 20 August 2017, 09:15AM +02:00 from tikum Azonga tmazonga@gmail.com: THE TRUTH ABOUT SECESSION
Any talk of secession is wishful thinking. Cameroon is not Rwanda. The
security system that was put in place and boosted by Biya is such that
from the moment any group of people sit down anywhere either inside or
outside of the country to scheme anything, the powers that be already
know it and know what to do.
You don`t solve a problem by running away from it. You face it
squarely and take the bull by the horns. That`s why I applaud the SDF
for still being there and making its voice heard. They had the choice
to quit. But they have rightly chosen to follow the voice of reason
and not emotions. Besides, what makes us believe that secession will
all of a sudden become a panacea to our problems? What is the
guarantee that once we go our separate ways, the North West and the
South West will not also come apart as separate countries? After all,
each of them is as large as Rwanda and Burundi, and therefore capable
of constituting a separate country. Let`s not delude ourselves!
Things are corrupt and rotten? Yes, but let`s fix them! Does it mean
that even in our homes when things go wrong we should separate?
I stand for one Cameroon in which an Anglophone - who knows where the
shoe pinches - shall one day be president of this country.Who knew
that Fru Ndi could ever come so close to being president some years
ago? Who knew that a Blackman would be president of America when Obama
became one, beating an almighty White woman whose husband had been
president?
Like Martin Luther King, "I have a dream . . ."
Believe me! It`s not the shouting from roof tops some of us make here
on social media. That is not where the battle ground is. Besides, the
dog`s bark is not might but fright.
