To me this is a beautifully crafted, states-manly document written
without any emotions and manifesting all the love for fatherland and
the liberation of Southern Cameroons. I'll dare adapt this Lincolnian
quote to this write-up
"A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this struggle
cannot endure, permanently, half SCACUFand half AGC. I do not expect
SCACUF to be dissolved — I do not expect the Southern
Cameroons/Ambazonia to remain in bondage under LRC — but I do expect
all our liberation movements cease to be divided. They should become
all one thing or all the other. Either the opponents of Independence
will arrest the further spread of it, and place it where the public
mind shall rest in the belief that it is in the course of ultimate
extinction; or its advocates will push it forward, till it shall
become lawful in all the Southern Cameroonians, old as well as young —
North as well as South."
It is my honest wish that all of us adhere to this call for unity and
let the forces that be seek an immediate solution to it and make a
stitch in time.
The home front is doing everything to keep their own part of the
bargain, and I will daresay news headlines like "Southern Cameroons
leaders divided over three days Ghost towns" or leaders exchanging
missives it is heartrending and we at the home front tend to be
saddened. And up to this moment there have been conflicting signals
about this stage of the Ghost Towns as some said Tuesday and Wednesday
will be at night i.e. 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The people should have a
definite official Statement from the leadership.
Also the leadership needs to make Southern Cameroonians know who is in
charge, not conflicting commands from here and there. I also followed
a video where one of the leaders say schools re-open in Southern
Cameroons in August 2018. Such a person was not talking on behalf of
SCACUF.
There is need as reiterated by the AGC Press release for things to be
harmonised at the helm .
