Job Title :  Oracle DBA

Location : O Fallon MO

Duration : 6 months+

 

Skills:

1.Responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation to migrate 8 central Oracle databases from a physical to virtual environment. Knowledge of Oracle from a DBA point of view required.  Must have knowledge of Oracle replication including Advanced Replication and Materialized views.

 2. Skills include Oracle 11G, PLSQL, Stored procedures and functions, Advanced Replication and materialized views, PERL, and Windows 2003 64 bit server or higher.

3. Good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work with others.

 4. Knowledge of Oracle 11G a must. This person will be responsible to develop and test a migration strategy that is to be used by the Oracle production support team. The individual will also assist the Oracle production support team in the migration activities. The individual will be responsible for troubleshooting all related issues that may occur during and after the migration.
