Oracle Functional Lead – Procure to Pay

Key Responsibilities
Provide functional and business solutions that meet user needs with strong understanding on Finance modules including Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement and iExpenses for the software/technology industry.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate high-level business requirements to functional specifications for IT and manage changes to those specifications.
Negotiate agreements, commitments and conflict resolution by facilitating communication between the business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.
Analyze and understand the company strengths and weaknesses to identify opportunities for automating processes and functions.
Possess expert knowledge of the business unit(s) they are supporting, understand IT systems and capabilities, help educate the business on best practices.
Has a good understanding of technology trends in order to develop solutions for the Procure to Pay teams that enhance the competitive edge of the enterprise.
Create business requirements and other documents in support of projects.
Conduct business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analysis in order to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
Lead process configuration design activities.
Responsible for functional designs and provide configuration solutions for business requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience Requirements
• At least 5 years of functional implementation experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite and at least 3 years experience in a Functional Lead role implementing Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement and iExpenses
• At least 1 full life cycle implementation of Oracle R12 including Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement and iExpenses
• Thorough understanding of Procure to Pay business processes and best practices, preferably with experience within the Procurement business unit of an organization.
• Experience with conversion, interface and extension development, testing and execution
• Excellent client facing communication skills.
• Experience with IPM or other similar imaging system
• Use Tax experience

Working experience in guided selling model environments. Ability to understand business requirements and translate high-level business requirements to functional specifications for IT and manage changes to those specifications.
Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between the business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.
Analyze and understand the company strengths and weaknesses to identify opportunities for automating processes and functions.

• In depth understanding of drop ship orders and integration of OM with other modules like Quoting, Service Contracts and Install Base.
• Relevant experience in configuring set ups, defining profile options.
• Experience in Universal Work Queue good to have.
• Ability to understand the selling model and suggest Oracle R12 functionality to match the requirements.
• Experience in multi-org environment.
• Excellent client facing communication skills.
