While experience with the various BI tools and data modeling concepts is a requirement, the most important skill set for consultants joining our team is a sound business acumen that allows our consultants to truly understand the client's needs and tailor the project to best meet those needs.

 

The position requires strong technical skills around SAP Business Objects, Business Intelligence, and strong verbal and written communication skills.  The ideal candidate will be able to work as a liaison between IT and Business Users, helping to define requirements and then produce the deliverables in a timely manner.  This often requires database design, tuning, ETL, metadata creation, and building end user reports and analysis with various BI software tools. 

 

. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

9+ years Experience required

• Technical education (BS preferred)
• Strong SQL/Database skills
• Expertise with the SAP Business Objects, Microsoft BI or other Business Intelligence software suites
• Familiarity with Data Modeling/Data Warehousing techniques and ETL development tools
• Web/ Internet experience, both Web and Application server familiarity
• Experience with Windows/UNIX operating systems
• Programming experience (VB, JSP, ASP C, C++, Java, HTML, XML) desirable
•  

Experience with related technologies, including Decision Support, OLAP, RDBMS,  SharePoint, and multidimensional database technology
