Actually, as Wilson Southam said, most real learning takes place at the breaks and after didactic teaching has occurred. I believe that, too. Many is the time that I have asked a speaker : "Okay, how does this REALLY work for you?" and got the skinny on it. I am sure you have, too.

Standard deviation in production in the microcosm of a dental office is VERY high. If you want to look at trends, talk to Vijay Sikka who does some very scientific data collection on any number of practices.
Need to learn how to be more equanimical about fluctuations, either up or down, and keep on plugging with more long term strategies.
Last week, people were saving up for their SuperBowl bets. This week, they'll be paying them off.

Our's was MUCH better than last year. But then last January was our first
month of business in our new, from scratch practice.
This Jan was the same as our monthly avg for all of last year so I will
say it was good overall.
