How CAMAIR was Destroyed by Cameroonians

Let us Langua about our National Airlines now called Cameroon Airlines Corporation or abbreviated as
CAMAIRCO. CAMAIR was founded by the Ahidjo Government in 1971 after sensing the failure of the French CFA Zone mirage called AIR AFRIQUE was already showing signs of asphyxiation. It had an initial capitalization of CFA 1.5 milliard (when the CFA Franc was still respected and you never had Government thieves who now steal more than they and their families will ever utilize or need).
CAMAIR immediately became a member of the prestigious IATA in 1973. Their first operations consisted of Renting Aircraft through an Australian Financial Management company with Direct Flights between Douala and Paris. Cameroon Airlines was the pride of every Cameroonian. Nigerians were forced to abandon busy Lagos, Post Harcourt and Abuja and Fly from Douala because of the "Wonderful 1st class services" that our trained hostesses and pilots offered. Unfortunately, like everything Cameroonian..."Crookery" found its way into CAMAIR and the downward free fall spiral began.

In 2002, the Australian Financial partner of CAMAIR warned Management that the corruption, theft, graft and serious mismanagement that was ongoing was unsustainable and if it were not corrected with drastic and sound policies, they might be forced to reconsider their participation with Cameroon. As usual, no one paid "the fools" any attention. In 2004, very logically, the Australians pulled the plug and bailed out. To add sores to injury, in early 2005, France Aviation authorities slammed a complete "Interdiction Absolue" on CAMAIR not to land any of its Planes on French soil or other European countries for that matter. YES; our very own France that is bleeding Cameroon dry in every sector of exploitation imaginable.
As if that is not enough "Malchance", IATA immediately suspends Cameroon from its list of credible aviation partners.

Anyways, since Cameroonians always have "smol cunny in their belle", CAMAIR secretly signed a contract with Italian Airways (Air Italy - not Alitalia) brandishing in official documents a new name for CAMAIR as FIRST DELTA AIR SERVICES and it had to be shorteed by "credible" Airlines like SN Brussels, Air France and Swissair..(I am very serious here, this one no be Njakri)...In short, we Cameroonians still thought that we had an Airline called CAMAIR, BUT French Aviation Authorities in 2006 knew with whom they were dealing, hence the re-authorization of Landing Rights at Roisy of the CAMAIR alias Delta Air Services. As for the UK which had initially authorized one Flight/week at the small "Njukssa" Airport of Gatwick; they simply warned CAMAIR not to come near their "Dix Huit Metres...Jusqu,q Jusqu,a". You all know how the British peepoo are too Konto and over shake shake 4 natty. One useless Kongossa British Tabloid even reported how perhaps the spread of "Shwine Flu, HIV/AIDS and Ebola" must have been spread in the UK by the arrival of Cameroon Airlines "burrowed" Planes to their Queen Ellissabet country.

Enter the IATA once more with another nail in the coffin that is now CAMAIR. Sensing some kind of International Conspiracy or Mafia going on, Cameroon is again suspended this time with charges of "Absence of Credible Financial Management, Unorthodox Accounting Practices, Gross Insecurity, Non Respect of International Regulations and Norms" etc etc. At this time (2007), CAMAIR debt ratio is at an all time high; in the neighborhood of 94 Billion (Milliards) Francs CFA; not a single Aircraft in its portfolio. Majority of Cameroonians have seemingly lost faith in their Airline and have given the moribund company a name of their own. They now call CAMAIR...AIR PEUT-ETRE or its Pidgin Translation "HOW MAN GO DO AIRLINE".

Is that the reason why Government has gone ahead and created a new entity called CAMAIRCO?
Draw your own conclusions. Here are the new Directors of our National Cameroon Airlines. Their names sure don,t sound Bamendrous, Ntongtou, Makaranah or Wadjax to me. Do you think I blame Paul Biya for putting Oyigbo peepoo to "Discipline" sorry "Govern" us?...No way. We own teep and wayo too much.
