Ayah Paul Abine
OPEN LETTER TO UN SECRETARY GENERAL
By Akoson A. Raymond
30/11/2013
The UN Secretary-General,
United Nations.
Sir,
The Significance of Those Two Maps
On May 20, 2010 La Republique du Cameroun celebrated its 50th
anniversary of independence. The President of the 64th General
Assembly of the United Nations, Ali Triki handed president Paul Biya
of Cameroun two gifts infront of national and international cameras:
- A large framed map of La Republique du Cameroon (LRC) with an
international boundary (in red) separating LRC and the Southern
Cameroons;
- and a map of the British Cameroons, with an international boundary
separating the Southern Cameroons and Northern Cameroons. While
handing this, Mr. Ali Triki declared, "Voici les cartes de Cameroon
Britannique … histoire en a decidee (Here are the maps of British
Cameroons…history had so decided.."
A good number of us at this corner of the globe have been pondering
for three years now. We await in anticipation as your good office
clears the air.
I humbly serve you,
Akoson A. Raymond,
Buea.

Akoson A. Raymond That Open Letter is as clear as day light sir. I
ask the UN Sec Gen to interprete OFFICIALLY without using diplomatic
gestures for commoners like us to understand the meaning of those two
maps

Nkwenti Fru While I applaud your efforts Mr Akoson to seek
redress, I'm concerned about the sudden U-turn of Mr Ayah Paul. In
favour of Southern Cameroons. Talk about a case of 'eat your cake and
have want it'. Dirty politics!

Fonge Filibel A Same views Mr. Nkwenti Fru. When possibilities
become impossible, strategies are enacted which will definitely fall
on Sandy soils. My backing for this Movement isnt for the present
redress. "what prospects".

Apongnwu Gideon Same view with Mr. Nkwenti Fru and Mr. Fonge
Filibe A. While i appreciate to be a Southern Cameroonian, I will not
do that under hypocrites (sorry if i must say that); Mr. Ayah has
worked in the supreme body for Many Years, He has militated in the
CPDM, Now due to some selfish interest he failed to delivered not even
a single Councillor or a parliamentarian, now he thinks that he can
just out of sudden do a U-turn to favour Southern Cameroon. No Way
Sir, Anglophones are not that stupid. Tell us some think else.

See Translation

Our Beloved Cameroons Kmers There's nothing like a sudden U-turn
as far as Ayah is concern. Yaounde regime told anglophones that their

Ngah Nfor Those who see a sudden U turn in Aya should ask
themselves these questions. Aya is turning from what. Who is turning,
is is LA republique or Aya? What do they know about unification? When
is Buys going to Buea to celebrate the 52nd anniversary of unification
not reunification?

Amstrong Chi Fru Koffi Annan brought to Biya a document which he
signed agreeing that Southern Cameroonians can become independent when
they choose. Ban Ki-moon brought to him two maps - that of the
Republic of Cameroon and the Southern Cameroons. Our freedom is
imminent if we all stand and take it.
