iSeries ITIL Operations expert
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: Long Term
Required Skills:
· Relevant bachelor’s degree in computer systems and/or equvilant experience with, infrastructure and administration, with additional business focus or equivalent job experience
· Knowledge of infrastructure and server theories, principles, and concepts (typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's Degree)
· 1 + year knowledge of iSeries Operations or Engineering experience.
· 2 + years experience working as a liaison with shift operations and vendors
· 2 or more years of design/build experience ITIL disciplines including incident, problem, asset, configuration, availability, change and release management.
· 2 or more years of experience with ITIL based tool such as Remedy/ViaTil, IBM Tivoli, Axios, TriActive.
· 2 years or more of General IT experience including operations or development.
· Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
· 2 + years experience with Robot help systems products (schedule, council, reports, network)
· Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and other standard business applications.
· Understands the impact of proposed hardware and software changes on business operations and balances the scope, security, urgency of change with the risks associated with implementation.
· Able to rapidly absorb and apply new technical information.
· Able to maintain focus within a changing environment.
