RE: CRIMEA Vs Southern Cameroons

Louis,
Do not waste your time my brother! Many so-called African intellectuals can simply not rise above the "soya" mentality. Countries in many parts of the world are liberated by soldiers and intellectuals. in Africa, these two groups are tools for the promotion of genocide among their own people. It is a shame!

You are fighting the wrong fight. If it is regionalism you want, fight it. If it is unity, also fight. Also, leave those who want to fight for their SC freedom to fight theirs. This is the civilsed way of doing things. In Cameroon? Non! All wish to please the totalitarian insanity.

What is good for culturally homogenous Scotland may be a harbinger of tribal and village republics in  Africa where people think tribe before nation.

In the face of the overwhelming evidence of some tribes refusing to accept the results of the 1961 plebiscite for fear of oppression from "outsiders" it beats my imagination that these same tribal people are now feigning unanimity of purpose with their "feared enemy" of yesterday.

These tribes will be the first to cry foul in any SCNC political dispensation.  They had better stop their tomfoolery and pretense and be vocal on regionalism as the panacea for South West Region autonomy. They have the most to lose from political domination.

Ardent nationalists like me from less threatened parts of South West Region should not be fighting alone.  The historical record is replete with evidence of their " tribal grievances" and they must stop the pretense of Anglophone unanimity of purpose, which the SCNC is disingenuously promoting towards its selfish ends.

What are you preaching here? Go tell that to the Scotish or the British. Or you know better than them? People live in a place and never learn! Who said a referendum means "dividing people"? People have the right to decide. That is a right given by God and not the Mukefor or Biya or whoever. This is civilisation. Denying such rights are the paragons of oppression and darkness.

Well, well.
Those clamouring for "people to decide for themselves" are those in the vanguard of SCNC, which seeks to ignore the choice of Southern Cameroonians in the Plebiscite of 1961.
Rest assured that if we keep coming back on our solemn choices, we shall have referendums into perpetuity and always at the behest of a disgruntled few  who may be intent on creating their own power bases.

At the end of the day, let the people decide for themselves. What happens to them is their business. This is called freedom and choice which many in Cameroon have never mastered having lived in free lands for decades. What exactly is the problem with some of you? You live in America, UK, France etc and cannot grasp simple notions of choice? No wonder the right wing elements in  the Uk want all foreghners to pack and leave!

Pa Fru Ndeh,
Cameroon na Cameroon.  No lessons to learn from these cases you have referred to.

Eritrea
Though peopled by a culturally homogenous group, Eritrea has since descended into a rabid dictatorship. The proposed "Southern Cameroons republic" will be a rampaging dictatorship by the same majority peoples that rode rough shod over West Cameroon and Southern Cameroons

Scotland

The Scots are fighting for independence as a culturally homogenous people. The proposed "SCNC republic" will group culturally diverse peoples, variously with antecedents in independent and herd thinking.  A common colonial language (English) has not led to homogeneity in thought processes or common good civility as most Anglophones reason in their tribal languages and philosophies.

Crimea

Presents a more potent case for Cameroon unity. Crimea was formerly a province of Russia that was ceded to his native Ukraine by Nikita Khrushchev in 1954 and now yearns to return to mother Russia
Cameroon was split up and dished out to colonial trustees in 1919.  East and Southern Cameroons  solemnly reunited themselves in 1961 under the aegis of the United Nations.  What two brotherly peoples have solemnly put together, let no opportunists put asunder.

SCNCists  know that there are no lessons here for their errant aspirations.  Being opportunists, they would have jumped in to draw parallels.

Dear All,

I capitalize CRIMEA for a reason.
Are the Southern Cameroons restorationist seeing what is happening
in SCOTLAND, CRIMEA, ERITREA and so on?

Where is Aaron Rezeh Mancho?
Where is Bens Awaah?
Where is Pa Ayamba?
Where is President Alobwede?
Where is Ambassador Fossung?
Lest I forget, Professor Carlson Anyangwe & Professor Tatah Mentan?
Where is the very loud & sometimes foul mouthed Ntemfac Chwereh Aloys O'Bouh F'egue?

This is Pa Fru Ndeh, the Spokes Person for a PAAWCE Presidency.

Blessed Be Cameroon
Pa Fru Ndeh
