Re: [MTC Global] millionaire college dropouts

Dear Friends and Colleagues in the field of education:

Hope, as people concerned with education, we are not implicitly suggesting that the secrecy in becoming a millionaire is by being illiterate, remaining inadequately educated and becoming college dropouts.

I read somewhere that Akbar was illiterate and yet a great emperor. But we must then remember that he was running an empire handed down by his father and not on which he was democratically elected. Fortunately he had the humility and common sense to listen to and heed to wise people to run and administer his empire.

Chandragupta Maurya was identified, chosed and taught and trained by Chanakya in a period when there were no PhDs. Chanakya was able to do that when Chandragupta was 9 years old. Do our teachers have the ability and capability to identify such great future potential?

Even the religious and spiritual leaders did not appear to have formal education. I am referring to Jesus Christ, Moses, Adi Sankaracharya, Prophet Mohammad, Guru Nanak, Sant Gyaneshwar, etc. We are fortunate that they existed all over the world. They were gifted. It does not then mean, that all uneducated people are automatically gifted because these people were gifted.

Many entrepreneurs became so, because that was the only route open to them. This happened all over the world. They were without formal education and also with formal education.

If our attempt is create an opinion base and justify lack of formal education in those who rule us, let us close all educational institutions and universities and let us not waste money. At least educationists should feel a sense of justification in the fact that they have received some formal education.

Let us have the courage to be objective, balanced and fair in our views.

Regards.
