Re: [MTC Global] Traffic Woes in Indian Cities -- Management Perspectives

We were taught fully about traffic rules.signs during our high school
days during 1953-59.We have to get qualified in this subject also to
be promoted to higher classes.Even we were taught how to get into
buses, tender exact farto the conductor without his asking, not to sit
in the seats allotted for ladies etc.,People of our generation follow
these till date scrupulously. We are laughing stock some times. But
those who laughed at us began to follow traffic rules and procedures
afterwards.
But nowadays this subject is not in the curriculum of either state
board syllabus or Central board syllabus. So, this should be included
and taught as was done during our days.
