TIBCO Middleware Administration
Must Have:
• Installs, maintains, and administers TIBCO server environments primarily in UNIX environments.
• Installs, configures, and fine tunes TIBCO components such as Business Connect, Business Works, Hawk, Business Connect, Business Events, and EMS.
• Strong UNIX/LINUX experience.
• Good communication skills and able to work across broad spectrum of user and development communities.
• Develops, improves, and documents the processes for maintaining and administrating the TIBCO environment.
• Orchestrates application management/Service Instances/resource allocation in the TIBCO environments.
• Experience implementing custom Hawk Rulebases.
• Provide applications and projects with technical support for TIBCO technologies.
• Provides guidance and technical expertise for research efforts involving TIBCO technologies.
• Provides on-call 24/7 support for applications running in the production environment.
• Performs application deployments(Scripted/Batch/Ant based) to test, integration, and production environments per established change management procedures.
• Provides support in the configuring and troubleshooting solutions and developing hands on solutions.
• Design and develop performance monitoring and administration tools for the integrated products suites, including dashboards to properly enable the visibility of operational data within the platform.
• Provide support and troubleshooting issues on existing TIBCO implementation in Production.
• 3 years of strong experience in TIBCO based technologies, including TIBCO Business Works, Business Events, EMS, and Hawk.
• 2-3 years of experience working with at least two of the following five TIBCO Adapter technologies (Database, MQ Series, SWIFT, File, and AS/400).
Preferred:
•Provides guidance and technical expertise during development and testing of applications.
• Experience troubleshooting and performance tuning of TIBCO middleware components.
• Facilitates and coordinates between the various stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of JMS, Web Services, XML, XLST, and XPath.
• Experience with TIBCO development • Work with project managers to establish and execute project timelines.
Good to have:
• Development experience with Java and Java EE preferred.
• Knowledge of SDLC, IT governance and operations
• Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, and application dependencies.
• Time management and prioritization.
