Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform embedded and application systems testing effort for Hologic imaging systems
· Develop test plans / test cases and perform verification testing
· Review design documentation and UI prototypes to asses usability and testability
· Document issues in a bug tracking system and report progress of testing to the QA Manager
· Execute performance, load, and/or fail-over testing of systems
· Work with engineering team members in resolving design and implementation issues
· Cooperatively work with other departments and actively support Service, Manufacturing, Marketing, QA and Regulatory
· Lead technical projects as assigned
· Participate in process improvement activities as needed
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Good understanding and experience in formal Quality Assurance and testing processes
· Exceptional communication skills that demonstrate understanding of complex technical details, clarity of thought, and the ability understand customers and their needs
· Demonstrated ability to meet commitments and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
· Demonstrated attention to detail and organization in all aspects of work
· Knowledge of automated testing, tools, and/or script development
Education
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
Experience
· At least 5 years of embedded system testing experience
· Software programming experience a plus
· Hands-on experience with LabVIEW is mandatory
· Medical imaging or experience in an FDA-regulated environment a plus
