Description for this role is below :

Duration: 6 month contract

Role:  The Data Exchange Developer will be responsible for building one-way and two-way data exchanges to connect legacy DBHDS and DMAS systems with a third-party Waiver Management System.  The Data Exchange Developers must be technically capable, deliver high-quality technical data migration specifications and code, and plan and execute reiterative test loads with vendor, DBHDS and DMAS technical teams.

 

Skillset:

·         Proficient knowledge and experience in the following technical areas:

o   .NET development

o   Designing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) data exchanges

o   Developing services in XML and WSDL

o   Deploying services in IBM WebSphere ESB and Microsoft BizTalk Server environments

o   Implementing web services and ETL with SQL, CRM with a SQL back end, and Oracle databases as either source or target, preferably a blend of all three

o   Data extraction: profiling, cleansing, and preparing load-ready files

o   Implementing data validation rules

o   Prior experience with the VITA ESB/SOA stack strongly preferred

·         Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

·         Strongly proficient in documenting data ETL mapping workbooks

·         5-7 years of professional experience on data platforms with strong emphasis on data migration

·         Preferred experience with a rapid accelerated development approach

·         Perform source system data analysis in order to manage source to target mapping

·         A high level of business maturity to function in a dynamic environment comprised of multiple state agencies and an integration vendor working in a highly compressed timeframe
