[MTC Global] NIRF- India Ranking 2016

The Ministry of Human Resource and Development on Monday released a list of top 10 educational institutions in the country under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) – a first-of-its-kind indigenous ranking framework.

As per the NIRF list for engineering institutions, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras ranks first, followed by IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur. For management studies, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore beats IIM Ahmedabad to rank number one.

Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani released the 'India Rankings 2016' on Monday at Vigyan Bhawan.
