Role: Datastage ETL Consultant
Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ – local preferred, must be onsite
Duration: 10 months
Job Description:
- Should have 7 years of experience in DataStage & ETL tools.
- Should have good knowledge & experience in Datastage 8.0 and above – development experience on parallel jobs.
- Database experience/knowledge – Oracle SQL will be preferred, knowledge on Oracle DB query tools - TOAD, SQL Developer.
- Basic knowledge on UNIX commands and DataStage SAP Packs is an added plus.
- Experience on any defect management tools like HPQC, and Version Control tools like Tortoise SVN is an added plus.
- Experienced working on Reporting Tool like COGNOS.
- Experienced working on SAP data migration projects.
- Understand SAP database tables and experienced extracting data from SAP.
- Experienced working on BAPI, IDOC interfaces from ETL to SAP.
- Able to work independently in the project
- Good written & oral communication skills, experience in offshore delivery model with SDLC knowledge.
- Responsibility: Participate in Requirements Gathering, Design, Development, Code Reviews, Team Management, Client Interaction, Timely delivery."
