Barrister John Kameni has been reportedly beaten by the police of the 3rd district unit in Buea, West Cameroon, following his urgent request for a gun license o...wnership.
Citing our sources, Bar. Kameni earlier went to the governor's office to order for the license but he was sent to the police authorities in Molyko, where it is reportedly issued. Little did he know that the colonial governor had immediately phoned and alerted the police to reject his request.
Upon arrival, citing my our sources, Kemeni told the police that he was being victimized by Buea youths for standing against their winning struggle. And so he needed a gun to kill youths who had printed out his photos and littered every street corner, he explained.
The police commissioner ordered that he should be flogged in public for such a diabolic thought.
Eyewitnesses watched the saga.
Kemeni, in recent months, has been fingered as a very close ally to Ekema Patrick and also a "ruling" CPDM member. It is reported that he is also bribing women with FCFA 1000 to attend the Feb 11 event.
Meantime, dozens of shops in Mile 17, Buea, have been burned to ashes this night, citing phone calls. Investigations are ongoing.
Observers suspect a regime agenda akin to the Dr. Fontem UB campus tragedy.
