Re: [MTC Global] Quality Teachers, not PhDs needed for Colleges: Panel

Dear All,

Teaching is an art of en lighting the mind of the student it is not related to doctorate degree holder can only gives a proper knowledge.

Followings criteria  must be consider to teach for Technical & Higher Education.

1.Teacher  must have at least minimum of 5 year experience in particular Subjects.

2. He/She must  have own Papers Publications / Journals on relevant Subjects.

3.He/She  must have Proper Certification on relevant subject  from NPTL / SWAYAM programs conducted from various  IIT'S 

4.Faculty Development Program must be conducted on relevant subject by Expert Professors  through University. 

5,Faculty Direct Recruitment through university to Private Affiliated Institutions / Colleges on ad choc bases.

I totally agrree with the panel. At the end of the day as a teacher what kind of skills, confindence and inspiration is given to the student's needs to be taken into account. The final outcome should be that students' are made independent learners and teachers are facilitators. At the end of the day even the degrree of employability of the student in the respective profession should also be one of the determinant of learning.
